Now, it’s our pleasure to share this special place with the roping community for an event that continues to grow in prestige year after year.
The Priefert Ranch Open (PRO) Roping debuted in 2022, bringing together both novice and pro athletes to compete in Team Roping and Breakaway. Timed to coincide with the Mt. Pleasant Pro Rodeo, The PRO gave contestants a unique opportunity to enter two major events in one stop along the rodeo trail.
In 2024, The PRO reached new heights, growing into a 6-day event packed with action. New additions included Steer Wrestling, a Pro-Am, Steer Roping and more, giving athletes even more chances to compete and take home big payouts. One of the biggest highlights of the event was our Calcutta, which raised an incredible $10,000 for the Different Day Foundation, supporting a great cause while bringing the community together.
