The Priefert Ranch Open (PRO) Roping debuted in 2022, bringing together both novice and pro athletes to compete in Team Roping and Breakaway. Timed to coincide with the Mt. Pleasant Pro Rodeo, The PRO gave contestants a unique opportunity to enter two major events in one stop along the rodeo trail.
In 2025, The PRO continued its momentum as one of the premier roping and rodeo events in the country. Spanning six full days of competition, with record entries and payouts, athletes had more opportunities than ever to compete at a high level and take home big payouts. Another major highlight was the Calcutta, which raised $20,000 for the East Texas Angel Network, supporting a great cause while strengthening community ties.
